An important milestone has been reached in the fight against cancer in Luxembourg with the official launch of the project to establish a Luxembourg Pilot Center for Cancer Control (CCC) as part of the European EUNetCCC project.

The “ Diagnosis Announcement ” project, as part of the National Cancer Plan 2 (PNC2) under axis 3 - Patients' Rights, Information and Training, aims to improve the experience of patients and their families during one of the most important moments in the care process: the announcement of a cancer diagnosis. It aims to ensure that this announcement is made in a caring, clear and reassuring way, respecting patients' emotional and information needs while fostering trust between patients and healthcare professionals.

We are proud to announce Luxembourg's participation in the EUNetCCC and JANE-2 Joint Actions in the fight against cancer, two key European cooperation projects aimed at improving cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment on a European scale.
